Betty Ruth (Maddox)Barnes, 98, of Louisville, Kentucky, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on January 09, 2021.

She is preceeded in death by her mother and father Grover and Minnie Lee Maddox, son William Barnes, and daughter Brenda Barnes.

She is survived by daughter Betty \"Janie\" Thomson, son Robert Barnes, daughter Sherry Russell, six grandchildren; Robert, Patrick, Joshua, Shannon, Tracy and Brian and nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Visitation will be held Wednesday January 10th from 11-2 with a private visitation on Thursday January 11th from 12-2 and services to be conducted Friday January 12th 1pm at Trent-Dowell funeral home Hardinsburg, Ky.

In lieu of flowers the family asks to make condolences in the form of a donation to Dementia Society of America
