Betty Lou Aldous BybeeJanuary 26, 1930 - April 23, 2015Betty Lou Aldous Bybee, 85, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt passed away peacefully on April 23, 2015 at St. Luke's Elmore, LTCU. Our mom was born on January 26, 1930 in Pocatello, Idaho and was the oldest of three daughters and five sons born to Virgil Leslie Aldous and Idaho Madge Barbre. She grew up in Pocatello and when she was seventeen years old she met and married Guy J. Bybee and they were married on June 17, 1947. They lived in Pocatello where they worked and raised their family. Mom always loved to cook and to meet people. She worked in several cafes around Pocatello and operated the Pilot House Cafe, west of Pocatello and the Blackfoot Livestock Auction Cafe for several years. She loved to play cards and she loved to cook and visit with friends. Our dad passed away in 1996 and in 2002 mom moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming to live with her son Gary and his wife Susan. While living in Rock Springs she enjoyed going to the Senior Center to play cards and visit with friends. In 2012 she moved back to Pocatello and lived in Cottonwood Cove where she had many wonderful neighbors. Mom suffered a stroke in 2013 and was moved to a nursing home in Mountain Home, Idaho to be by her daughter, Robyn and her two children. Mom loved to see her grandchildren and especially enjoyed seeing her newest little great granddaughter while in the nursing home. She is survived by two sons, Rodney (Peggy) Preston, Idaho, Gary (Susan) Nampa, Idaho, her daughter, Robyn (Wayne Kruckeberg) Mountain Home, Idaho, nine grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren, her sisters, Joy Piper (Gary) Pocatello, Idaho, Shirley Brown, Sandy, Utah, her brother Jack, Pocatello, Idaho. Mom was preceded in death by her husband and parents, four brothers, Gary, Dean, Stanley and Virgil, a son Bryon and a great grandson, Garrick. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at St. Luke's Elmore, LTCU for all of their love and care they gave our mom the last year and a half of her life.
