Williamson. Together they raised a son, Richard Allen Williamson and a daughter, Vickie Lynn Williamson Seal, both of Bentonville, Virginia.A dedicated employee of Dr. Byron B. Timberlake, Bettie worked in his Front Royal office for over 45 years where she worked as a receptionist and gave allergy injections. She loved "her girls" that she worked with and considered all of her allergy patients to be special friends. They would often bring her little "love gifts", fresh fruits, vegetables, and eggs from their gardens. Her family thanks all of you for your love and support.Bettie was a member of Happy Creek Baptist Church where she served as Treasurer. She loved her Brothers and Sisters there with all her heart and found great solace inside the walls of that little church. As a lifetime member of South Warren Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary Bettie held many offices, including President, Secretary, Treasurer and Historian. She is survived by her children; a sister, Doris Brown (Ronnie) of Florida; a brother, Carlton "Jack" Priest, Junior (Martha) of Browntown; and her four grandchildren who were her pride and joy: Mathew Waylon Williamson of Luray; Carey Ann Williamson of Bentonville; Richard Tyler Williamson of Front Royal; and Aaron Weaver Seal of Bentonville, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sisters Barbara Priest and Shirley P. Wines; and brother in law, Daniel L. Wines.Bettie had a love for life and everyone she encountered along life's way. She would greet you with a smile and usually a "Bless your heart" or "God love ya". She never met a stranger and was game for most anything. She enjoyed her annual trips to Amish Country in Pennsylvania and you never left her house without her saying "Do I have anything here that you need?". She gave from her heart and was always concerned for others wellbeing above her own. Quite simply, in the words of a song, she was always "humble and kind".In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Happy Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Elder Gary Utz, 429 West Duck Street, Front Royal, Virginia.Sign the Guest Book at www.nvdaily.com/obituaries
