Bessie Mae HallKnoxville, TNMrs. Bessie Mae Hall, departed from us at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Thursday March 30, 2017 at 11:54 p.m. She was born on February 21, 1942 to James Henry and Mildred Howell in North Carolina. After settling in Knoxville, Tennessee, she worked at Lake Shore Mental Health for 30 years until retirement and was also the owner of The Wedding Tree Bridal and Catering for 20 years.She was preceded in death by her spouse, Lewis A Hall; her parents and brother, Andy Howell. Survivors are her children, William (Darlene) Howell, Shaketta and Joy Lowery, and Rachel (Mark) Whiteside-Wilson; grandchildren, Lamone Lowery, Erica Sackett, Brittney and Brandon Jackson, Kierra and Myra Whiteside, Matthew and Princeton Wilson; great-grandchildren, La MyJah and LaSiyah Sackett, Amauri and Maleeyah Whiteside, Jayden Slay and A' King Grimes; brother, David Howell.On Thursday, April 6, 2017, the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m.-12:30 p.m., with service to follow at Emmanuel United Presbyterian Church at 3023 Selma Ave, Knoxville, Tennessee 37914. Pastor Victor King officiating. Interment will immediately follow at New Gray Cemetery where a white dove release will conclude the service.
