On October 6,1951, Bernetta Fefee was born to Adella Jackson and Charles Jackson. Bernetta was raised on the south side of Chicago. She was the third child of six children. George Washington Carver High School is where she graduated from. Later, she attended Olive Harvey College receiving a degree in nursing. Shortly after she landed a job at Advocate Trinity Hospital as a registered nurse. Bernetta married Joseph Fefee and they had five children. Bernetta was known as caring, loving, ambitious, and very honestly. She was loved and adored by many. Her spirit was felt by many. Bernetta leaves behind her children; Shenetta Fefee-Sewell, Joseph Fefee, Jr., Theo Fefee, Antwan Fefee, and Marcus Fefee. She leaves behind one son in law, Roland Sewell. Two daughter in laws, Melvina Johnson-Fefee and Jasmine Fefee. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren Mario Fefee, Joseph Fefee III, Jovonna Fefee, Eric Johnson, Bionca Fefee, Kayla Fefee, Makaia Fefee, Marcus Fefee, Jr., Makaylah Fefee, and Nylah Reed.
