Ben was a hard worker and was a farmer all of his life. Along with his family, he had many friends. His former employers included, Zane and Clayton Friend, Stephen Werner for whom he worked for many years farming their land. Ben was preceded in death by his parents, Benigno Martinez Sr. and Isabel Martinez; a brother Santos Martinez; a son Jimmy Martinez and nephews Adam J. Martinez and Jesse Joe Meza. He is survived by his son, Ronnie Martinez; a grandson Ronnie Lee Martinez; sisters Silvia Meza and husband Joe, Stephanie Martinez, Gloria Cuellar and husband Simon, Irene Aguirre and husband David, and Lydia Martinez; brothers Manuel Martinez and wife Rosa, Mauericio Martinez and wife Dora, and Sanon Martinez.
