GLEN ROCK Belva F. (Kimes) Amspacher, 97, died Wednesday July 23, 2014, at Accolades Personal Care Home, New Freedom. She was the wife of the late Dennis A. Amspacher. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with Pastor Tim Allen officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's (Hametown) Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Amspacher was born on July 18, 1917, in Shrewsbury, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Wagner) Kimes. She had worked for American Insulator, New Freedom, and the Bon Ton Potato Chip Company, York. She was a member of Glenview Alliance Church, Glen Rock, and the Ladies Auxiliary for the Shrewsbury Fire Company. She loved to quilt, sew, work in her beautiful garden, bake, and to can food. Belva also had a passion for music and played many instruments. Belva is survived by three daughters, Marilynn Amspacher, and MariJane Vetter and her husband, Ernest, all of Florida, and Marjorie Royer and her husband, Steven of Felton; a son, Frank Amspacher and his wife, Carolyn of Glen Rock; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Elnora Stiffler of York; and a brother, Robert T. Kimes of Spring Grove. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Goldie Miller, and her beloved dog, Jorge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Glenview Alliance Church, 10037 Susquehanna Trail South, Glen Rock, PA 17327 Trail.
