Schroeder, Beldon E.Beldon E. Schroeder, age 88, of Redgranite, formerly of Arkdale, Wisconsin passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Preston Place CBRF in Redgranite, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship, Wisconsin. Pastor Dean Anderson will officiate. Interment will be at the East Arkdale Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Roseberry's Funeral Home and again from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. Beldon was born on April 2, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois to Frank William and Mildred (Yapp) Schroeder. Beldon grew up in the Joliet, New Lenox, and Mokena area of Illinois. After high school, he married Ruth Knupp on December 9, 1950. He farmed and worked at the Caterpillar Company. He also built fuel tanks used for war purposes (at the Globe Aircraft Corp). Beldon moved with his family to the Arkdale area where he farmed and worked as a welder for the Roberts Bros. in Friendship. He then worked for Consolidated Papers in Wisconsin Rapids as a welder, until his retirement in 1991. Beldon and his wife Ruth moved to Nekoosa in 1987 where he continued to live until he moved to "Our House" in Wis. Rapids in February of 2016, then to "Preston Place" in Redgranite in April of 2016. Beldon was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Schroeder; parents, Frank & Mildred Schroeder; sister, Mildred Schroeder; grandson, Christopher Piechowski; lifelong friend, "Bud" Sievert and brother-in-law, Robert Wright. Survivors include his Daughter, Alice Tomaska of Redgranite, Wisconsin; Son, Dale (Carol) Schroeder of Mattoon, Wisconsin; Daughter, Mary (George) Piechowski of Redgranite, Wisconsin; Son, William (Laurie) Schroeder of Arkdale, Wisconsin; Son, David (Gretchen) Schroeder of Champlin, Minnesota and Daughter, Rebecca (David) Smith of Cleveland, Tennessee; Grandchildren, Tina (Geran) Courtway of Bethel, Maine; Samantha (Jim) Spice of Antigo, Wisconsin; Dale (Amanda Erickson) Schroeder of Wausau, Wisconsin; Allen Schroeder of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; Willa (Ben) Pribel of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; Wendy (Gordon) Reitz of West Bend, Wisconsin; Elizabeth (Greg Renstrom) Schroeder of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota; Laura Mae Schroeder of S.
