Barbara Ford Sanchez, 48, a native of Chackbay and resident of Shepherdsville, Ky., was born on Oct. 21, 1964, and passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013.A memorial Mass for our baby sister will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Her ashes will be put to rest with her parents in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery. The public is invited.She is survived by her husband, Carlos Sanchez; son, Carlos Luke Sanchez and wife, Vana; grandchildren, Emma, C.J., and Callie; brothers, Alcide, Sunset, Harry and Luke Ford Jr., all of Chackbay; and sisters, Judy Sanchez and Linda Perez of Chackbay, and Mary Bergeron of Zwolle.She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke Orge Ford Sr. and Mary Hebert Ford; and sister, Diane Ford.Hardy-Close Funeral Home in Shepherdsville, Ky., is in charge of arrangements.
