Starszak, Barbara M.Barbara M. Starszak, age 57, of Appleton passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, the result of natural causes. She was born on April 14, 1959 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin daughter of Robert G. and Gloria A. (Komassa) Starszak. Barbara was a happy, outgoing woman, who loved quilting, golfing, fishing, and watching football. She enjoyed thrift shopping at "The Big Dig," tinkering, and drinking coffee. She was very proud of her 1998 Toyota Pickup truck. Barbara was a Renaissance woman who gave 100% to everything that she put her mind to. She loved her family and friends, and her favorite dogs, Eddie and Baylor.She is survived by her Partner of 28 years, Deb Wentz; her parents: Bob and Gloria Starszak; sisters: Cynthia (Mark) Sanders, Greenville; Caren Starszak, Appleton; brothers: Bruce (Karen) Starszak, Marion; Brian (Ellen) Starszak, Appleton; Christopher Starszak, Combined Locks; her Goddaughter, Betsy Gscheidmeier, Germantown; Deb's parents: Dan Wentz; Noreen (Dick) Cota; Deb's brothers: Dan Jr. (John Slimp) Wentz; Duane (Beth) Wentz; many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Starszak; and her niece, Catie Houser.Friends are invited to an informal celebration of Barbara's life on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. in the Mark Van Thiel Room at the Combined Locks Fire Station (405 Wallace Street).
