Barbara L. Jones1948 - 2013Barbara L. Jones, 65, of Kenosha passed away on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at Kenosha Hospital. She was born on May 6, 1948, in Virginia to Walter and Betty Lou (Schilling) Battersby and she was educated in the schools of Kenosha. For a short period she worked as a nurses aide at Washington Manor. Barbara married Lawrence Jones on Sept. 18, 1976, at Memorial Methodist Church in Kenosha. She took in family members when needed over the years and enjoyed time with her four-legged friends. Barb was the Angel of our hearts.She was preceded in death by, her husband; her parents; her two brothers, Dale and Phillip Battersby and her nephew, Phillip Jr.Barbara is survived by, two brothers, Bruce (Jacqueline) Battersby and Lon J. Battersby both of Kenosha; her sister, Katheryn Nicolai of Kenosha; seven nieces and nephews, Lon Jr., Jonathan, Jason, Brandon, Jocelyn, Thomas, and Nickolas; grand niece and nephew, Jaelynn and Chance as well as many friends.Graveside services for Barb will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at St. George Cemetery.
