Daugherty of 319 Hotchkiss Road passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 in Augusta Health in Fishersville.Mrs. Daugherty was born on April 1, 1946 in Lexington, a daughter of the late William R. and Minnie (Chittum) Fox.Barbara was a member and Elder of Second Presbyterian Church and was presently employed as a receptionist for over thirty-four years with Westwood Animal Hospital.  Mrs. Daugherty was "Maw" to many Buffalo Gap students who would visit her home on a regular basis.  She also enjoyed yard work and working in her flower garden.Surviving is a son, Brandon Daugherty of Churchville; a sister, Linda Sue Fry and her husband Jerry of Fishersville; a niece, Stephanie Thai; a nephew, Matthew Fry and his wife Vicky; a great-niece, Ainsley Fry and great-nephew, Everett Fry also survive.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.A Celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2016 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Evan R. Smith.Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery in Churchville.Active pallbearers will be Benjamin R. Gee, Josh Izzillo, Isaac Izzillo, J.J.
