LAGRANGE — Barbara A. Coney, 82, of LaGrange died Tuesday, Dec, 22, 2015, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital. Mrs. Coney was a lifetime LaGrange County resident. She was a homemaker and had been a cook for many years at Gropp's Fish in Stroh. She was born on Aug. 6, 1933, in Honeyville to Carl B. and Jane (Dunafin) Campbell. On April 30, 1952, in Ashley, she married Glen L. Coney. He survives in LaGrange. Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce L. and Kimberly Coney of LaGrange and Brian L. and Teresa Coney of LaGrange; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters, and two brothers. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, with the Rev. John Coney officiating. Burial will be at Brushy Chapel Cemetery in rural LaGrange. Pallbearers will be Matthew Coney, Brandon Coney, Joe Oiler, Kyle Coney, Luke Ritchie and Greg Handshoe.
