Barbara Anne Everett Freeman TadlockSeptember 17, 1941January 21, 2017Barbara Tadlock, of Reno, passed away on Saturday, January 21,2017 after a short battle with cancer. Barbara was born on September 17, 1941 to Nonnan W. and Shirley (Flynt) Everett in Methuen, Mass. She graduated high school in Spencer, Indiana and joined the US Air Force and was stationed at McGuire AFB New Jersey where she met her first husband Theodore J. Freeman. The family was stationed in Montana, Ohio, two years at Sembach Air Base near Kaiserslautern, Germany as well as two years in Berlin. The family moved to Reno where they raised their two daughters, Kimberly Anne and Dawn Marie. They divorced in 1984.Barbara was married to Hubert J. Tadlock from 1986 until December 1994.They resided in Las Vegas for several years and she worked in the mortgage industry but returned to Reno in 2012 after the downturn in the housing market.Barbara enjoyed spending her time with her family, especially her great grand daughter Katie Ann. She loved traveling, bowling, crafts, crocheting and sold Avon products for many years, reaching President's Club many times. Barbara was a member of Center for Spiritual Living in Las Vegas.She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her two husbands. She is survived by her daughters Kim (James) Garner and Dawn (pat) Smith, her sister, Karen Everett (Barbara), grandsons Jason, Robert, Cody (Sarah), and Ethan Garner, Brian Smith, granddaughter Summer Roberts, great grand daughter Katie Ann Garner, all of Reno/Sparks, step-daughter Jeanine (Marvin) Burgess, step-granddaughter Jennifer (Jeronimo) Velasques, stepgreat grand daughters Jocelyne and Julianna Valasques and step great grandsons Joseph and James Valesques, step grandson John Burgess, step great granddaughters Hannah and Haylee Burgess and step great grandson Bryan Burges, all of Williams CA.Private services will be held for the family.
