Bill Odiorne passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. A tribute of Bill's life may be found at

William Vernon was born on September 24, 1953, to Vernon Odiorne and Barbara Mazingo in Waltham, Massachusetts. Bill was a graduate of Andress High School in El Paso, Texas, where he received a basketball scholarship to Sul Ross State University. From there he enlisted in the US
Army and served as both a medical and dental technician. He also attended Stephen F. Austin State University, Trinity, and Texas Tech Universities and received his degrees in both Mathematics and Microbiology. Everyone knew that Bill loved to cook, loved to eat, giving gifts, tie dye and falling in love on a daily basis. He was an inventor, a thinker, and a giver but his profound passion was for the science of the human heart. Survivors include his mother, Barbara Mazingo; a son; 3 grandchildren; siblings, Nancy Cook, David Odiorne. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Odiorne.
