Ava Guerrero LUBBOCK-Visitation for Ava Guerrero, 67, of Lubbock will be from 5 to 9 p.m., today Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Guajardo Funeral Chapels with Pastor Miguel Casanova officiating. Ava passed away on Dec. 11, 2016, at Covenant Medical Center. She was born on Oct. 27, 1949, to her late parents, Jose and Leanor Guerrero in Lubbock. Ms. Guerrero was very lovely and generous. Ava was friendly and she loved her family including her nieces and nephews all the same. Ava never had to put anyone down; she would give what she had to everyone that was around her at the time. We loved Ava and she will be missed dearly. Ava is survived by one daughter, Ruby Guerrero; brothers, Daniel, Joe, Raymond, and Henry Guerrero; sisters, Louisa Mora, Alvida Ramirez, Juanita Perez, Mary Ann Rodriguez, Elda Guerrero and Blandina Gutierrez; one granddaughter, Roxann Rios; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Leanor; brother, George Guerrero; and sisters, Adelina Cortez and Martha Guerrro. WE HAVE ANOTHER ANGEL WATCHING OVER US!!!!!
