Arthur T. CarmichaelZANESVILLE: Arthur T. "Art" Carmichael, 90 of Zanesville, died at 10:49 PM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Cedar Hill Care Center.He was born on October 3, 1925 in Zanesville the son of Fred and Dorothy Dantz Carmichael.He was employed as a foreman with United Technologies and had worked at several of their locations all over the United States. At one point he and his wife lived in Huntington, Indiana for 32 years with his work before moving back to Zanesville. Art also enjoyed fishing & along with his wife enjoyed competing & going to dog shows.He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Kathleen V. Carmichael and two nephews, Jim (Becky) Harrier and Gary Harrier. Arthur was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by a sister, Ruth Harrier and a nephew, Tom Harrier.Friends may call 12 noon till 1 pm on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. with Funeral services to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.Memorial contributions can be made to the Muskingum County Animal Shelter Society.
