Arthur Robinson, 74, died at 12:46 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2019, from an unexpected stroke.

Arthur was born June 02, 1945, in Gary, IN and was a lifelong area resident. He worked as a  crane operator for over 20 years at Gary steel mill. and first responder for the East Chicago Fire Department and was a active  member of the community.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Roninson ;mother Lisa Robinson; two brothers, Timothy Robinsin, and Brian Robinson, three step-kids Dino Ross, Venus and Lamont Ross; nephews, Kyler and Kelton Robinson, one niece, Alexis Fields and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and Grandchildren 

Services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Zion Missionary Baptist Church 

Memories, Gary Colt will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Ethridge, Christopher Edwards, Levi Lawson, Matt Weems, jessie Williams and Charlie Clovin.

Friends may call at the  Zion Missionary Baptist Church, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, at the Church.
