Lawrence, Arthur Charles passed away on January 25, 2017. He was born on June 29, 1927 in Anoka, Minnesota. In his earlier years, Art was active in farming and construction, at one time the owner of Lawrence & Sons Construction Company, specializing in building homes. He met his wife of 29 years, Lenore in Wickenburg Arizona. He is survived by his wife Lenore, and a combined 15 children, 42 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, and his sister Lorraine Weaver. Art's children are LaVone (Lawrence) Blesi, Irene (Dale) Sothman, Gloria (Terry) Gwinner, Jean (Philip) Godfrey, Gregory Lawrence (Lisa), Shelly (Steven) Hemmelgarn, Lavern Lawrence, and Mary (Joe) Adelmeyer. He was preceded in death by Janet Lawrence and Thomas Corkin. A visitation will be held from 9:30 -10:30am on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 1551 E Dana Ave, Mesa AZ 85204. After the Rosary at 10:30 the Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00am. Burial with military honors will follow at Phoenix Memorial Park 200 W Beardsley Rd, Phoenix, AZ.
