Arnold S. CramerManheim TownshipArnold S. Cramer, 91, died Saturday March 19, 2016 at the Brethren Home Community at Cross Keys, New Oxford. He was the husband of the late Goldie (Forbes) Cramer.Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2016 at St. Jacob's Lutheran Church, 3444 Sticks Road (Route 216), Glen Rock, with his pastor the Rev. Paula L. Murray, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Jacob's Stone Church Cemetery, Glenville. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church.Mr. Cramer was born on March 1, 1925 in Glenville, Manheim Township, and was a son of the late Edward W. and Lydia (Sotdorus) Cramer.He graduated in 1944 from Codorus Township High School and had worked as a Paper Machine Operator with P.H. Glatfelter Company in Spring Grove for over 38 years retiring in 1989. He had also farmed in the Manheim Township area for many years.Arnold was a member of St, Jacob's Lutheran Church, Sunday School and the Men's Club of the Church, Glen Rock, the Quarter Century Club of P.H. Glatfelter Company, the Jefferson Chapter #3699 AARP and the Jefferson Fire Company. He leaves a son, David A. Cramer and his wife, Kellie of Clayton, Mo.; three grandchildren, David Brandon Cramer, Alexander William Cramer and Julia K. Cramer; and two sisters, Sarabelle Baugher and Shirley Lehr, both of Spring Grove. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Arlene Garrett; and two brothers, Gordon Cramer and Roger Cramer.
