Gianforte, Arcangela Arcangela Gianforte passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home surrounded by loving family on August 2nd, 2017, at the age of 77. She was born on January 3rd, 1940, in Caronia, Sicily, Italy, where she grew up and met her devoted husband Salvatore, at which point they moved to Brooklyn, New York, to start a family. They had 5 children, 4 daughters and 1 son. In 1984, they moved to the home in North Phoenix that they still occupy today. She was a kind, selfless, and beautiful person who had a passion for cooking for her family and caring for her grandchildren. There was not a day that went by that she did not talk to her children. She was an amazing Mother, Wife and Nonna. Her death was preceded by that of her parents Anna Crisci and Giuseppe Manetto, and also her son, Vincenzo. She is survived by her siblings Maria, Pina, and Antonio, husband Salvatore, her four daughters Sebina, Anna, Angela, and Maria, and 11 amazing grandchildren. Her family will be having a Visitation on Friday, August 11, 2017, from 5pm-8pm at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary at 200 W Beardsley Road in Phoenix and a Funeral service on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at 9am, also at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary.
