Annie B. NehringOctober 8, 1930 - March 28, 2014Ann passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Friday, March 28, 2014 at a local care center. She was born on October 8, 1930 to Robert and Ethel Todd in Hartville, MO, where she was raised.She married Fred Swopes, March 1946 and from this union 3 children were born. They came to Idaho in 1952 to find work. They later divorced.Ann married Frederick "Fritz" Nehring on August 31, 1957. They moved to Pop's family farm in 1958. Mom worked for Simplot's in Caldwell. Mom was a talented musician, singing and playing the mandolin and a beautiful oil painter. She and Pop played music with several groups. When pop retired they travelled to Arizona for the winter. Mom was in an all-female band, "The Polka Dots". Pop died in June 2009.She is survived by 3 children; Jim (Janet) Swopes, Joyce (Lynn) Fehrer and Judi (Bob) Allen, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and one on the way.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 5 sisters, 2 brothers and 1 grandson, Todd Swopes.There will be no services per her request.
