PRIESTLEY, Anna Willene Anna Willene Priestley died at her adult family home in Bellevue, WA, on October 27, 2016. She was 101. Willene was born on September 7, 1915, in Colfax, WA, the third of five children born to Robert Kingsley Squibb and Anna Maude (Smith) Squibb. Shortly after her birth, the family moved to Spokane. Willene graduated from North Central High School and Kinman Business College. She entered the workforce in 1936, working at sales and secretarial jobs in Spokane. Willene was active in youth programs at Knox Presbyterian Church in Spokane. It was there she met Ambrose Priestley, who was stationed in Spokane with the Army Air Corps. The two were married in Phoenix AZ in 1943, while Amby was in flight training. After the war, Willene and her family returned to Spokane and settled in Pasadena Park.
