Anna Margaret Moore Border "Grandma Tippy"ZANESVILLE: Anna Margaret Moore Border "Grandma Tippy", 101 of Zanesville died at 4:50 PM Monday, May 20, 2013 at her residence following a short illness.She was born on May 23, 1911 in Zanesville the daughter of Carl T. and Della Irene Fell Moore.Mrs. Border was a member of Muskingum Presbyterian Church, and Ann was promoted into heaven to be with the Lord a few days shy of her 102nd birthday. Ann was a longtime member of Muskingum Presbyterian Church. She was an avid bowler until the age of 80, a salesperson for Artex paints, Tupperware, and toys. She worked 18 years for Hazel Atlas (Continental Can) . She lovingly knitted and crocheted items on a daily basis and made hand-loomed rugs. Ann was a caring, loving Mother and Grandmother and always said that she "loved us the most".She is survived by her children: Dottie (Delores) Schultheis, Gary and Jeannette Border; daughter- in-law Nancy Border; grandchildren: Cheri (Tom) Dunn, Charles Kevin Schultheis, Dennis (Cheryl) Schultheis, Jerri Ann (Curtis) Salmons, Jeff (Denise) Border, Greg (Tammy) Border, Mark (Kim) Border, Doug (Kay) Border; 15 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and step-great-grandchildren. Ann blessed her special caregivers: Doug and Kay, Cheri, niece Marlene Durant, Darla and Toshsa and Todd. She loved her special pet dog, Honey.Anna was preceded in death by her husband Wilber T. Border Sr. of 58 years on May 19, 1987; a son Ted Border; sisters Thelma Hittle, Rosemary Scaduto, Colleen Orwig; and a brother Ben Moore; and step-mother Ethel Moore.Friends may call 5 to 8 pm on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2pm Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Kudart officiating.
