Ann Gail McConahayAnn Gail McConahay, 83, of Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at home. Ann was born on April 6, 1930 in Flint, Michigan to the late F.C. and Mary (Myers) Schon. In 1951, she graduated from St. Vincent School of Nursing in Indianapolis with her RN license. After graduating, Ann worked for St. Elizabeth for 20 years. She then went on to work for Charter Hospital for 10 years and then for H&R Block for 30 plus years. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral where she was involved in Blessed Threads. Ann attended the St. Elizabeth OB Breakfast Club and she loved to travel, read, and knit. Surviving are her daughters, Carol Dunn (husband: Jonathan) of Birmingham, AL and Linda LaDuke (husband: Jack) of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Aaron Grady, Nicholas Grady (wife: Jessica), Ruthie Kuhn, Michael LaDuke (wife: Elizabeth), and Kathleen Johnson (husband: Scott); and great grandchildren, Jackson, Payton, Logan, and Hae Lin Kuhn and Nathan, Margaret, and Emily LaDuke. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Maureen Grady and grandson, Joseph LaDuke. Visitation will be on Friday from 6-9 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral with Father Jeff Martin officiating.
