West, Anita Gayle Anita Gayle West, 76, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on Friday, September 29, 2017. Anita was born on a farm outside Estherville, Iowa on November 11, 1940. Anita married Larry West on June 10, 1961. They, along with their children, moved to Mesa AZ in 1975. Anita worked for the Mesa Public School District until her retirement in 2003. Anita was preceded in death by her husband Larry West, grandson Trey Mesa, and sister, Evelyn Schwenneker. She is survived by her daughter Lori Mesa (Bernie), sons Scott West (Chanel), Jason West (Berenice), 9 grandchildren Cassidy, Wyatt, Austin, Codi, Ramon, Karina, Mikey, Xander and Tatum. She is also survived by sister, Lorabelle Hempstead, Blanche Mitchell and brothers, Harold Knudson (Janet), and Dale Knudson (Wanda).Vistation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 5, 2017 with a Prayer Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home, 1562 E.
