Angela Gordon MiddletonAngela Denise Gordon-Middleton was born on December 25, 1971 in Oakdale, LA to the union of her parents, James McCorkle and Deanna Moore. Angela confessed Christ at an early age, uniting with Liberty Hill Baptist Church where she was baptized by Rev. Givens. She graduated from Oakdale High School and Southern University. Angela later met and married her soul mate Daryl Wayne Middleton Sr. on June 14, 2008 in Oakdale LA. From this union was born two beautiful children, Amari and Ian Middleton. Angela loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time and laughing and joking with them. Angela was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 28, 2017 at the age of 45, Angela was preceded in death by her father. She was a devoted member of Saint Peter Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed as a Floor Slot Tech. at Coushatta Casino for 22 years. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Daryl Middleton Sr., her children, Amari Middleton, Ian Middleton, Daryl Middleton Jr., Tra'nace Brown, Brain Morgan, Jason Hymon, Selinia Middleton, Donnell Scott, Darrell Scott, Ashley Middleton-Thomas, her mother, Dianna Moore Wadley and Stepfather Sparkey Lee Wadley. Angela will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.A wake will be held on Friday, April 7 from 6 p.m. -9 p.m. at Saint Peter Missionary Baptist Church. On Saturday, April 8th also at the church, a viewing will be held from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. with the funeral services conducted under the leadership of Rev. Gregory Craig beginning at 11am. Burial will follow services at Oakdale Community Cemetery.
