Amelia Rojas GonzalezNovember 19, 1936 - June 23, 2015Amelia Rojas Gonzalez passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Amelia was born on November 19, 1936 in General Teran, N.L. Mexico. In 1956 she married her husband, Adan Gonzalez and they established their home in Caldwell, ID. They raised their three children there and Amelia worked and retired from Albertson's bakery in 1998. One of her proudest accomplishments in life was becoming a U.S .citizen on March 17, 1995. Over the years Amelia and Adan housed many visiting priests and nuns. Amelia is survived by her husband, Adan Gonzalez of Caldwell; son, Adan Gonzalez Jr.(Paula); daughters, Bertha A. (Rolando) Garza and Diana G. (Jose) Peredo; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her father and mother-in-law. They family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Horizon Hospice and Home Health Care for providing loving and compassionate care and to Rest Care Home Care in Caldwell. A Viewing for Amelia will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 PM with Rosary Recital at 7:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, June 26, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery in Caldwell.
