WESTERMARK, Almar (Al)Al Westermark passed away peacefully at the Dulcina Hospice in Calgary, AB on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Al was born on June 20, 1926 in Sorsele, Sweden and immigrated to Canada as a child. He grew up in Glen Park, AB and had a lengthy and successful career in the automotive industry. Al was an active volunteer throughout his life. He loved his family, woodworking, fishing and a good campfire. Al is lovingly remembered by his wife Sheila and his numerous family and friends. A Celebration of Al's Life will be held at FOSTER'S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen's Park Cemetery), on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. Interment of Al's urn will be held at Glen Park Cemetery in May of 2018.
