Alma Irene Babb was born on Nov. 3rd, 1924 in Sabetha, Kansas. She worked at Parkview Baptist Hospital for several years, and later owned Irene's Cafe. Alma enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, reading, sewing, she traveled to Alaska twice with her husband Philip, Grandsons Bobby & Michael. She is survived by Sons Jim (Debbie) Babb of Yuma, AZ, Billy (Janet) Babb of Rosamond, CA. Daughters Phyllis Pope of Bard, CA, Cheryl Cooper of Phoenix, AZ. and Charleen Babb of CA. Brothers Charles (Mary) Tawzer of Yuma, AZ, George (Alta) Tawzer of ID. Sisters Anna Lindemood of Yuma, AZ and Agnes Blasi of San Mateo, CA. Grandsons Michael (Tammy) Babb of Yuma, AZ, Tommy (Leanna) Babb of Yuma, AZ, Bobby (Becky) Pope of Yuma, AZ. As well as five Grandchildren, and nine Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Husband Philip Babb, Parents Charles and Della Tawzer, Sister Margie Lynn, and Daughters Patty and Jackie Babb. Pallbearers: Jim Babb, Bill Babb, Michael Babb, Tommy Babb, Cody Babb, and T.J. Babb. A Visitation to be held on Feb. 19th, 2016 at Noon, at Yuma Mortuary.
