Allene Coffin BarnettSeptember 11, 1929 - August 15, 2015Allene Coffin Barnett, age 85, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away of natural causes on August 15, 2015 at her home. She was born on September 11, 1929 in Downey, Idaho to Jess Coffin and Mildred (Owen) Coffin.Allene graduated from Pocatello High School in 1947. She married Franklin "Joe" Barnett on October 7, 1950 in Elko, Nevada. Allene loved and adored her family deeply. She loved being with her children and their families. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy and held a very special place in her heart.Allene was preceded in death by her husband Franklin J. Barnett and her parents. She is survived by her sister, Cleda Hemming of Thatcher, Arizona; children, Franklin J. Barnett Jr of Pocatello, Jolene (Clinton) Stephens of Pocatello and Cindy (Mark) Brewer of Inkom; two precious gifts her grand children Joey Henson of Pocatello and Jessica Dickman of Chubbuck.A visitation will be held on Friday, August 21st from 6-8 PM at Downard Funeral Home, 241 North Garfield Ave., Pocatello. A celebration of life will be on Saturday, August 22nd at 2:00 PM at her daughter's home at 572 Sunup, Pocatello.
