Allan Michael Laganowski, 43, of Oostburg, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 9, 2017.Allan was born on November 22, 1973, to Michael and Trudi (Dirkse) Laganowski. He was a graduate of Oostburg High School. Allan was employed at Dutchland Plastics for over 20 years. There, he worked in various capacities and fostered many wonderful relationships and community. He was an avid Brewer, Packer, and Badger fan, and enjoyed going on drives with his children. He was incredibly knowledgeable about trains and cars and had a special love for his two Doberman dogs, Brewer and Bella. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with those he loved and left a lasting impression on those he came into contact with. Allan is survived by his parents, Michael and Trudi Laganowski; one son, Allan Laganowski (Junior); one daughter, Alyssa Laganowski; two brothers, A.J. (Jackie) Laganowski of Oostburg, Michael (Rosa) Laganowski of Waldo; two nieces, Lauren Laganowski, Reina Laganowski; eight nephews, Mason Laganowski, Jayden Laganowski, Rio Laganowski, Devan Laganowski, Kedan Laganowski, Raven Laganowski, Crew Laganowski, Colt Laganowski; three uncles, David (Susan) Laganowski, Jeffrey (Pat) Laganowski, Allan (Terry) Dirkse. Allan is further survived by other relative and friends.Allan was preceded in death by his grandparents; Walter and Betty Laganowski, and Allan & Dorothy Dirkse; an aunt, Jane Fairchild; and a cousin Thomas Jackson. A funeral service to celebrate Allan's life will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at 11am at First Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Drew Zylstra officiating. A burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may greet the family at Wenig Funeral Homes in Oostburg on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, from 4pm until 7pm and again on Thursday, at the CHURCH from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am.In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name for his children.
