Jeske, AlfredAlfred Jeske, DePere, age 99, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017. He was born on August 25, 1918 in Seymour, Wisconsin son of the late Arthur and Freida (Rihm) Jeske. Alfred worked at Thilmany Pulp and Paper until his retirement; after which he worked at North Shore Golf Course. He was a Veteran of WWII and a member of the VFW. Alfred married Marie Withagen until her death in 1959; married Loretta Blean in 1973 until her death in 2015.He is survived by his son Keith (Pam) Jeske, step sons, Joel (Carolyn) Blean and James Blean, daughter Freida (Ken) Haas, step daughters, Judy Valentine and Janice (Terry) Kachigan, 17 grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Mary Baseman.Alfred was preceded in death by his wives, son Walter Jeske, sisters, Adeline Dobish, Altine Marx and Mae Marx; brothers, Allen and Arthur Jeske.Services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Peace Methodist Church, 2300 Wisconsin Ave., Kaukauna with Rev. Lucretia Fehrmann officiating. Burial will be in Kelso Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 12 noon until the time of service.
