Labanow, Alan A.Alan Anthony Labanow, age 69, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 21, 2016 at Oakridge Gardens Care Center of Fox Crossing.Alan was born on November 5, 1947 in Kenosha the son of Alex and Ann (Koscik) Labanow. Al was a 1965 graduate of St Joseph High School in Kenosha and received his Bachelor's Degree in History in 1971 from the University of Wisconsin Parkside. He also served his country with the United States Army and was honorably discharged at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Alan was a member of the WIAA State Baseball Tournament team of 1965 and was inducted into the St Joseph High School Hall of Fame. Al loved to coach Little League Baseball and was an avid Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. He was a baseball card collector and loved to golf. Al was employed with Aramark Vending and Refreshment Services of Menasha for twenty years and was formerly employed with Jack's Maintenance of Neenah. Al was united in marriage to Lynn (Tock) Luebke on August 18, 2001.Al is survived by his loving wife, Lynn and her family; Joseph Junion and special friend Kennda, Menasha; Douglas Junion, Burlington; Michelle (Steven) Rosenbaum, Darboy; Michael (Jaclynn) Luebke, Appleton; his siblings; Jane (Phillip) Mullen, Dale (Karen) Labanow, both of Kenosha; and Mary Anne (Rick) Patnode, Racine; his best friend, Terry Cumisky, Kenosha; and by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.A memorial service for Alan will be held on a future date in Kenosha. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in Alan's name.
