EMERALD ISLE - Aileach Michelle Kelly died at her home on Friday, March 7th.
She was born on March 5, 1994. She was the daughter of Owen M. Kelly of Emerald Isle, N.C. and the late Ruth A. Walley.
Aileach graduated from Croatan High School and was a freshman at Carteret Community College. She loved her family, friends and all animals.
She enjoyed all beach activities, especially sun bathing, kayaking and boating.
She had a beautiful smile and she was a good friend to those who needed her.
She will be missed and loved by all who knew her, especially her family.
She is survived by her father; two sisters, Samantha Coffin (Chris) of Stella and Rachael Kelly of Chapel Hill; her grandmother, Rose Stilson of Oneonta, N.Y.; her grandfather, Thomas V. Kelly of Emerald Isle; her three aunts, Darlene Barriger (Butch), Moira Patterson (Bill), Eleanor Simmons (Richard); and five uncles, Thomas V. Kelly Jr. (Maryanne), John Kelly (Connie), Dennis Walley (Jerri), Phillip Walley (Barbara), Richard Walley (Linda) and Edward Walley (Nancy).
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please make donations in Aileach's name to Carteret County Humane Society Shelter (CCHSshelter.com) or Columbus Girls Academy (Teen Challenge).
The service will be held at Jones Funeral Home in Swansboro Tuesday, March 11, 2014. The family will receive guests at 1 p.m. and the memorial service will start at 2 p.m.
