Reimer, AgnesAgnes Reimer, 98, Village of Howard, died Monday, January 16, 2017. She was born on June 22, 1918, to the late Thomas and Marie (Olsen) Drella.On August 7, 1937, Agnes married Raymond Reimer at SS. Edward and Isidore Catholic Church in Flintville. In those earlier years, she enjoyed camping and perch fishing with Ray and her growing family. After Ray passed away she began golfing, bowling and traveled to places including Australia, Germany and Alaska. In recent years, she again started knitting afghans, prayer shawls, infant caps and covers, and scarves for grandchildren. Agnes had great faith in God and was loved and respected by all who knew her.She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Larry and Sue Reimer, Carol Wolfe, Tom and Linda Reimer, all of Howard; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Patti (Tom) Patterson, Mark (Kris) Reimer, Liz (Brad) Wagnitz, Katie (Ted) Umentum, Bob (Uta) Wolfe, Pat (Teri) Wolfe, Rachael Reimer, Eric Reimer; ten great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Vi Drella.Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond in 1981; son-in-law, Michael Wolfe; and her siblings, Harriet Vanden Plas, Alice Bieda, Rose Tiesling, and Lawrence Drella.Friends may call at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2597 Glendale Ave. (one quarter mile east of the corner of Cardinal Ln and Glendale Ave.), from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, January 21. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 21, at the church with Rev. Scott Valentyn officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
