Zuleika Makhan, beloved wife of Kedahroo Makhan, was born on October 17, 1933, to Albert and Rehanna in Georgetown, Demerara-Mahaica, Guyana. She peacefully passed away on December 9, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Zuleika and Kedahroo were married in 1953 and together they raised seven wonderful children: Jean, David, Eric, Ruth, Shirley, Roy, and Tony. Zuleika was a loving mother who always put her family first and took pride in watching her children grow and succeed.

Zuleika also had the joy of being a grandmother to eight grandchildren who brought her immense happiness and laughter throughout the years.

Known for her warm smile, kind heart, and fantastic cooking skills, Zuleika will be remembered by all who knew her as a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Rest in peace, Zuleika Makhan, you will be deeply missed.
