Yolanda "Lon" Johnson-Hollman, a beloved resident of Chicago, was known for her nurturing roles as a wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Unexpectedly, on May 13, 2023, at the age of 58, she departed from this world.

Born on October 19, 1964, Yolanda was the daughter of Landers and Sharon Kirby. She displayed exceptional academic prowess from an early age and crossed paths with her high school sweetheart, Phillip Johnson. Their union in marriage resulted in the blessing of four children: April, Angel, Phillip, and Aimee. In the early 2000s, Yolanda found everlasting love with Vincento Hollman, whom she married. Alongside her beloved spouse, she cherished the presence of four grandchildren: Carmen, Chaniyah, Candace, and baby Myles, who was born in 2023.

Yolanda's devotion to her family knew no bounds, as she even adorned herself with tattoos dedicated to her sister and children. She relished tranquil mornings accompanied by coffee and engaging in heartfelt conversations with her numerous friends. A true movie buff, Yolanda possessed a discerning eye and often predicted the endings of movies within the first 30 minutes.

Not only was she a gifted storyteller, but Yolanda also possessed exceptional oratory skills. Despite obtaining a degree in Information Systems Technology, her honest and motivational testimonies impacted and saved lives. Her career in the nonprofit sector, focused on helping disadvantaged youth and families, spanned many years. Yolanda's unwavering dedication to assisting others stemmed from her immense compassion and inspired countless individuals to transform their lives for the better.
