William C. Pabst1922 - 2013William C. Pabst, 91, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, at the Hospice House.He was born on June 28, 1922, to the late William E. and Edna L. (Ettinger) Pabst in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Kenosha High School.On Dec. 30, 1942, he entered the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged on Feb. 14, 1946, serving in Central Europe.On Sept. 7, 1946, he married Evelyn E. Schiller at St. Lukes Evangelical Church.William worked at Snap On Tools in the factory for 38 years, retiring in 1983.William was a member of St. Marys Lutheran Church.William enjoyed repairing cars, keeping up with his yard, and avid history reader and Cub fan.William is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn of 66 years; his daughter, Susan (Tom) Rotoloni of Green Oaks, Ill.; his grandchildren, Daniel T. Yanca and Janie (Joe) Bonasera; his great grandchildren, Ayla Yanca, Alana Yanca, Gabriella Bonasera and Joey Bonasera and his sister, June Knoedler of Kenosha. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by a son Kenneth C. Pabst and a sister Louise Meers.Funeral Services for William will be held on Thursday, Aug. 15, at 11 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
