William Joseph Hill, 64, of Baltimore, MD, earned his Angel Wings on May 21, 2019, surrounded by family and friends. On this day his strong fight against Prostate Cancer came to an end.

He was born on February 23, 1955, to Arthur and Hellen Hill in Norfolk, VA. 

William attended Booker T Washington High school and after high school he began his Military career by joining the Army. He served for 10 years. 

He married Hattie May Jones on May 25, 1977 and they had 2 children, Tasha Hill and Antonio Hill.

He was an honorable military man, great contractor who took pride in building his own home for a family he loved so dearly and the greatest man that this world was so lucky to know.

William is survived by his wife Hattie May Hill, Children-Tasha and Antonio Hill, Grandchildren-Shanequa Hill, Tavon Hill, William Hill and Shavon Hill, Great grandchildren Skylar Moore and Barry Baker, and Siblings Bessie Hill and Margaret Hill.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Hellen Hill, Sibling Clifton Hill and Theresa Hill. 

Visitation will be May 30, 2019 11am at March Funeral Home, Baltimore, MD. 

Funeral services will be May 31, 2019 9am at First Baptist Church of Norfolk, Norfolk, VA. Interment will follow at Hill Family Cemetery in Norfolk, VA.
