William J. Redondo passed away at home on March 20, 2013, after valiantly fighting pneumonia after his lung cancer surgery the last few years. He was born on November 13, 1938 in Yuma, and was a fourth generation member of a Yuma pioneer family. William is preceded in death by his parents, Sofia and John; his siblings, Lydia, John, and George and his beloved son, Mark. He is survived by his siblings, Henry and Jimmy; his children, Darren, Matthew and Rebekkah; his grandchildren, Christopher, Rachel, Sofia and Fletcher. He Graduated from Yuma Union High School, and The University of Arizona. He earned his Law degree in 1975 and practiced law in Tucson. He was an avid U of A sports fan. He loved movies especially John Wayne. He also loved cooking and bringing together family. Services will be at East Lawn Palms Mortuary on Monday, March 25, 2013 from 4pm to 6pm.
