Mr. William "Bill" Gholston was born on September 18th, 1924 in Franklin County, GA to the late William Lewis and Ivie Gholston. He departed his life on January 26, 2019, at the Washington DC Medical Center. William served as a faithful deacon of the Bright Light Baptist Church. He worked faithfully until his health began to fail. Along with his service for the Lord, he also served in the United States Army, honorably.William was proceeded in death by his wife Viola Ambers Gholston. As well as two sisters Mildred Corbin and Inez Mayfield, and one daughter Trudy Mae Poole a grandson Bernard Blassingame a granddaughter Allison Goodine.He leaves to cherish his memory to four daughters Iva Jean Goodine, Brenda Blassingame, Diane Beasley, and Lenoble Warren all reside in Georgia.His ten grandchildren, twenty great grands, and eight great-great-grandchildren. Two nephews Leland William's of Milwaukee, WI and James Mayfield of Atlanta, GA. As well as a host of cousins and close friends Ms. Lucille Copeland (caregiver and friend) Ms. Virginia C.
