William Moore, 73, passed on April 02, 2021 at Carolina Medical Center - Pineville Hospital. Known to most people in Charlotte as Billy (Motoe), was born on June 24, 1947, to the late Arthur James Moore, Jr. and Willie Mae Bowman, in Charlotte, NC. Billy graduated from West Charlotte High School in 1960. In which he was very proud about and had no problem proclaiming til his death. He continued his studies at Central Piedmont Community College.

Billy accepted the Lord into hsi life at a very young age. As an adult, he was a member of the Usher Board, Steward Board, Booster Clubm and the AMEN Men's Choir. Making a joyful noise to the Lord is what he loved to do even when times got hard.

Billy (Motoe) married his lovely wife, Rosa Mae Moore in 1978, while working for the Charlotte Housing Authority as a Maintenance Supervisor. Later in the early 1980s, Billy began working for Johnson C. Smith University where he was recognized for his many years of experience. He retired in September of 2003, and became a successful business owner of a Janitorial Service.

Billy has always been a family man. He did all he could to help his family in their time of need. He was a very straight forward man who would say what he meant and meant what he said. However, everyone who met him loved him.

He is proceded in death by his father: Arthur J. Moore Jr ; mother: Willie Mae Bowman; daughter, Brenda Gee; and a host of toher relatives.

He leaves the memories of his life and legacy to his loving wife, Rosa Mae Moore; Brother, Arthur J Moore, III (Karen); Children, Carolyn L Cowans, Alphonzo Gee and Lynette White. Grandchildren: Earl White, Brian White and DeMarcus Kelley. a host of nieces , nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
