William Tipton, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on December 5, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 83. He was born on April 24, 1942, to Billy and Mary Tipton.

William married his loving spouse Phillis in 1985 and together they raised three children. Molly Wilburn, Ben Tipton, and Joseph Tipton were blessed to call him Dad, and he was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren.

William was a graduate of South Pittsburg High School, class of 1960. He went on to work at Lodge Manufacturing, where he dedicated many years before retiring in 2007. Prior to his civilian career, William served in the Arnold Air Force Base as a SGT.

In his free time, William had a passion for travel and exploring new destinations. He cherished the memories made with his family on these adventures.

William Tipton will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and devotion to his loved ones. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
