Veronica Chambers-Hopkins was born on September 18, 1959 in Huntington New York to the late Wallace and Annie Chambers. She attended high school in Huntington New York. Veronica met her soul mate, John shortly after and settled in Houston Texas to start their life. In Houston, she dedicated her life to the lord and became a member of the Church of Christ. Veronica was a remarkable, loving mother, Wife and friend. She touched so many people in ways that she was "mama" to them. During her spare time, she loved doing her puzzles and crocheting. You were lucky if you got one of her beautiful blankets or scarfs, along with her famous lasagna. Veronica was definitely the definition of the "Life of the Party".
Veronica leaves to cherish her memory, Her husband; John R Hopkins Jr, Her two sons; Stevie Petro (Monalisa) and Donnell Norman (Michaela), Her grandchildren; Jamika Petro and Ja'Kobi De'Andre Petro, Her great grandchildren; Skyla Carter and Leilani Veronica Talro Petro (Unborn), Her Siblings; Cynthia Harris and Darren Norman, along with her Siblings that have preceded her in death; Mary Frances- Harris, Charles Dixon and Ronald Chambers. Tiarhee Chambers and a host of other nieces and nephews, and many faithful family and friends.
