It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Le Dai Tuong (Thomas Le) on October 31, 2019. Born on January 14, 1939 in Hanoi, Vietnam, he was a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather, and will be missed dearly.

Thomas was a strong man who lived a very full life, overcoming countless obstacles to provide the very best life he could for his family. He came from a large family and worked as a teacher and business man in Saigon, Vietnam.

A very beautiful young lady caught his eye at school, and soon a courtship began. After marrying in 1969, and the birth of two sons in the following years, their life was changed forever when they fled Viet Nam and became refugees of the war in 1975. Thomas was determined to build a new life for his young family in their newly adopted country, welcoming their third son just a few years later, and was fully dedicated to learning English and earning money any way he could, sacrificing everything for his wife and children. It is because of his love and strong will that his family have the blessed lives that they enjoy today. We are forever grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Bill Edwards and family for opening their home when he first arrived in America and the many years that followed. Their generosity made that new life possible. He will be missed, and never forgotten.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 50 years, Do thi Ngoc Dung (Suzanne Le); Son Minh Le, wife Michelle, children Mai and Michael; Son Huy Le, children Aysia and Austin; Son David Le, wife Megan.

His wife and children will have a private memorial service. The family requests only your prayers and happy memories.

We have curated a few of the articles written about our family over the years, please read and remember Thomas lovingly through the eyes of authors who also found him an inspiring and strong husband, father, and grandfather.
