NELSON, TIM, 51, of Homestead, Florida passed away peacefully on January 22, 2017 after battling Cholangiocarcinoma. He was born on October 30, 1965 to native Miamians, David & Marilyn Nelson who reside in Homestead. He is survived by his son, Taylor, and daughter, Julietta, his loving siblings Teri (Guy) Gilbert, Kim (Tom) Booth and Kelly (Woody) Boyle. He has eight nieces and nephews and four great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Nelson Linton. He graduated from South Dade Senior High School in 1984. He was a managing partner of Norman Brothers Produce Inc in Kendall where he developed all of the daily baked bread recipes and homemade fresh fruit pies along with the other scrumptious baked goods. He also served as councilman for the City of Homestead. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to: 1) First Tee Miami/Homestead-Redland-Cutler Ridge P.O. Box 901268 Homestead, FL 33090 2) Cholangiocarcinoma Research cholangiocarcinoma.org A memorial mass will be held a Sacred Heart Catholic Church 106 SE 2nd Road, Homestead FL, 33030 on February 4th, 2017 at 12pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at Redland Golf & Country Club 24451 SW 177th Ave, Homestead, FL 33031 from 2pm-6pm.
