"Dad, I will always cherish our talks about sports, and the time we spent traveling. I am grateful for the bond we formed. I was honored to spend time with you during the last stages of your life. I admire your strength, you never complained, and you always managed to smile. I’m going to miss you big guy."

Love,

Sean Jr. “Huggie”

"Dad, You have always been my superman, as you always came to my rescue for any and everything. We even had our own code word. “Help Help”. No matter how big or small, you were always there for me. I would have to hear your mouth afterwards, but you never let me down. You took very good care of my siblings and I, as well as our children. We were always privileged to experience things that many other kids our age couldn’t, and for that I would always be grateful. You taught me how to be independent and go after everything I wanted in life. You were one of my biggest supporters. Even during your final stages of life, you still were there when I needed you. You even protected my feelings by speaking on the seriousness of your illness. I wish I could have paid you back for everything you done for me, and everything you gave me, by removing the pain you endured. I am going to miss you terribly. Even though you are not here in the flesh. I know you will still be my superman in heaven. I know your grand dad, and your uncles are having a ball. To know you are no longer suffering makes this pain a little easier. You will always be a part of me."

Love,

Brittany “Da Britt”

"I find myself wondering did I remember to thank you enough for all you have done for me. For all the times you were by my side to help and support me. For celebrating my success, to understanding my problems, and accepting my defeats. You demonstrated the value of hard work, good judgement, courage, and integrity. I wonder if I ever thanked you enough for the many sacrifices you made to give me my very best. I just want to say "thank you," And I hope you knew all along how much you mean to me. I love you father for everything you have done for us.

Love,

Ashleigh (Spunky)

"Thank you for taking care of me and Mommy. For making sure I had everything I needed and wanted. For taking me to all the restaurants. I will always remember our trip to the Waffle House.

Love you PaPa,

Rayeonna “Raye”

"Welp…. Who am I going to beat up now? I’m going to miss play fighting with you papa."

Love,

Mirey “Merry”

"Papa left me."

Love,

Amir “Littleman”

"Sean, You were my youngest son, and the most energetic boy I met. You kept me and your father on our toes, as you were always into something. You grew up to be a hardworking man, whom many of us depended on. You would fuss and grumble but you were always there when we needed you, it took you all day, but you always showed up. Son, I can’t express in words how much I love you and how much I will miss you. Rest easy baby."

"Murdock, I hide my tears when I say your name, but the pain in my heart is still the same. Although I smile and seem carefree there is no one who misses you more than me.

-Gary King “Wheelman”

"We are here to celebrate your life. And the measure of its worth. And every single life you touched. while you were her on earth. We wish to pay our last respects. That’s why we are here. To thank you for your friendship and all the memories we hold dear. It’s been a privilege to have known you. We were family not just friends. And we will carry you in spirit. Until we meet up once again."
