Rupert, 62, of Chicago, Illinois, passed on October 27, 2022, With his devoted wife, Carole, and children by his side.

Rupert was born on October 14, 1960 in Kingston, Jamaica to Rupert and Gloria Levy. A child of Jamaica, Rupert grew up inspired by the vibrant sounds of Reggae music that cultivated Jamaican culture and influenced the entire globe. This would eventually inspire him into working with music and sound engineering as a passion and hobby. He shared his love of music and culture with everyone he met.

Rupert was a quiet and reserved man of few words. He was the kind of person everyone would go and talk to because he was a great listener and patient which made it easy for people to confide in him. He was a devoted family man and a trusted leader.

Rupert was a loving, compassionate, understanding, and devoted family member not only to his three children, Melissa, Christopher, and Nicholas. But to his grandchildren Jevon, Talia, and Kemet. He was also a great uncle, brother, cousin, you name it he was it.

All in all, this is a devastating loss for everybody who knew him and he will sorely be missed.
