Robin Ma’Laysha Glenn Truesdale , 71, passed on September 02, 2022 in her home , it was very peaceful and exactly what she wanted . Robin had been battling cancer for years and beat it multiple times but this time she wasn't as lucky . She was always a fighter and never gave up ! Robin had a soul and spirit that could light up any room she stood in. She was born to David Malcolm Glenn Sr and Melinda Sydney Warren on March 17, 1951. Born and raised In Charleston South Carolina . She married Michael Dwayne Truesdale who she met in college at College of Charleston and have been married for 43 years . Together they raised 3 children LeeAnn Truesdale, Christopher Truesdale, Omar Truesdale. Robin went above and beyond for her grandchildren Jalen , Aj , Yasmyn, Caleb , Amiya and Amereah , Jordyn , Bryson , Antonio , Ashlyn and Jada like no other they were her whole heart , her pot of gold and she could never say no to them. She always made Sunday dinners and was beyond big on family. Robin worked as a wonderful kindergarten school teacher for 22 years and loved her job, she was always passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. Robins going away service will be held in Summerville South Carolina we are only asking for close friends and family to come and help us at this very hard and upsetting time as we accept and celebrate the life of Robin . The service will be held at Albert A Glover funeral home Friday October 7th 2pm at 113 Bryan St , Summerville South Carolina 29483.
